• Pressure Regulating Unloader Valve: Suitable for use with Cat Pumps high-pressure plunger pumps.
• Applications: Commonly used with a trigger gun, lance, and spray nozzle in high-pressure cleaning and wash-down applications.
• Operating Principle: When the trigger gun is closed, the back-pressure wave moves the valve into the full-open position to bypass the full pump flow at low pressure. This reduces wear, noise, and energy consumption when the pump is idling.
• Bypass Flow: Excess flow is bypassed back to the source or to the pump inlet.
